So far, so good. I’m still getting used to using the mini, but that’s not the mini’s fault. I don’t like the touch pad, prefer to use a mouse, but not enough room on a classroom student chair/desk. Again, that’s not the mini’s fault, it’s mine. Am planning to use summer break to master my mini and every other electronic device I’ve acquired.

The Windows 7 Starter is a bummer. Talk about bait and switch. I don’t need all the bells and whistles of Windows 7 Office Premium and have already purchased (through Amazon) Windows 7 Student and Home.

… I'm still here to write a positive review on a Windows PC. Why buy a ? Why is small, lightweight and inexpensive. Although I would like to buy a 13 "MacBook Pro, the is almost four times less and 2 pounds lighter. Examine only four stars because it is limited and defined . But it's a nice , and I recommend it if you can live with its skills (or lack of understanding)., do not get what they want to pay.

After several days of use, here are my thoughts:

Why:
- Faster than I thought. Very relevant to the site and over 90% + of things on my computer. Actually suffer a bit 'faster than my dual core (which is probably the decay OS after several years of use).
- It seems well built.
- Screen brilliant.
- No fingerprints! Nice matte finish.
- Love the size and portability (all )
- Bloatware and Win7 start was not as bad as I thought. SlightlyTrialware removed and found Win7S cool. not regular snap my picture, as someone said (maybe have listend and removed the "feature").
- Screen size is a big problem. 1024 is large enough (barely) and 600 only requires more scrolling than usual. In my opinion, it is worth the compromise for excellent portability.
- The keys feel good. Trackpad is great (but I prefer the mouse).

I was looking for the best for the trip. I'm going to 3.5 months of trekking in South America, and I want the for use:
- Back to my pictures and movies from my digital camera and camcorder
- Read my e-mail from time to time
- Skype with my friends and family
- Optional see a movie during a long bus and air travel, or listen to music at night

      this is a nice netbook. The keyboard is well placed and responsive. The integrated webcam is adequate, but nothing unusual. The spots are less desirable characteristics, a bit 'small. * The wireless laptop that sucks! I bought at BestBuy, and 2 weeks cruddy return / exchange policy has not been enough for me to test it.
